Mr. Morsy currently oversees the operations of Finance in Motion (“FiM”) in Egypt and Yemen. FiM is an asset management company based in Frankfurt and is the Advisor for the SANAD and the Green for Growth Fund that both provide financing to financial institutions and corporates in order to facilitate access of finance to SMEs and promote renewable energy and energy efficiency. Mr. Morsy has been working for FiM for more almost 12 years. Aun is a Global Specialist in
Early-stage Finance at the World Bank Group where he specializes in developing
innovative financing mechanisms to increase capital flows to early-stage
entrepreneurs in emerging and frontier markets. His current areas of focus
include venture capital, seed funds, angel investing, and investment readiness
programs. Aun is overseeing the development and implementation of a VC Fund of
Funds program (and related initiatives) in Egypt and startup finance programs
in other MENA countries. Prior to this, he led the build-out of the first set
of angel networks in the Caribbean and developing clean-tech venture funds in
Kenya and Ghana. He's also spearheaded a multi-organizational collaborative
initiative to build solutions for early-stage finance in developing countries,

the World Bank, Aun was the founding Country Director/CEO of Acumen Fund

Dr.
Ahmed Altheneyan is currently working as Deputy Minister for Technology
Industry and Digital Capacities at Ministry of Communications and IT.
Dr. Ahmed has a combination of hands on practical work experience and solid
educational experience. He has more than 22 years of experience in the Computer
Science discipline, 15 years of them are in the Telecom sector.
In 2002, Dr. Ahmed has obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Old Dominion
University. While working on his Ph.D., he has worked as a Research Assistant
at ODU from 1997 to 1998, and at NASA Langley Research Center, from 1998 to
2000 in which he was involved in a wide range of network and distributed
computing activities. He joined then Trendium (Telco Solution Provider)
from 2001 to 2002 as Senior Member of Engineer working on the design and
implementation of OSS platform.
From 2003 to 2015, he joined the Telecom sector in Saudi Arabia working at STC
and mobily where he played several roles ending up with the Chief Technology
Operations Officer at mobily looking after IT and Network. He then joined
Ministry of Defence, Minister Office as CIO and Technology Advisor from 2015 to
2017.
With over 30 years’
experience in Business Development or technical and managerial experience, much
of which has been acquired at Director and Board level roles in the Oil, Gas
and Tobacco industries I am now the Founder and General Manager of ISKAGAS, a
company which I set up to provide consultancy services to p[promote the
development of the natural gas industry in Egypt.
I act as an
independent consultant and advisor to EGAS and associated companies offering
strategic planning, financial evaluation and contract negotiation to develop
business and review gas regulation schemes before presenting them to
Parliament. I am also business consultant for Philip Morris Egypt, advising on
issues relevant to the tobacco industry.
During my career, I have developed
exceptional business acumen, which is backed by a Master’s degree in
International Banking and Finance. In addition, I am adept building a rapport
with Ministers from various departments of the Egyptian Government and with
executives at corporate level of high profile companies such as UGDC, BP and
Amoco. I provide strategic planning, contract negotiation and control of
commercial and financial structures for multi-billion dollar projects.
Capitalizing
on my years of experience, I'm heavily involved with many Fintech Startups as
Angel Investor and Mentor.
Dalia Ibrahim is the CEO of Nahdet
Misr Publishing House, an affiliate of Nahdet Misr Group, which has been a
regional icon of knowledge for over 80 years. Today, it is a globally-recognized
provider of integrated and innovative educational, digital learning, publishing
and capacity building solutions. In addition to her role at Nahdet Misr, Dalia
is also the founder of EdVentures, MENA’s first corporate venture capital firm
specializing in Edtech. She is also the founder of Ta’heal for VET Skills
Excellence, which offers demand-driven vocational education solutions. Dalia
serves on several boards, including Endeavor Egypt, Education for Employment,
Women Entrepreneurs Network, Tiye Angels, and Injaz Egypt.
Amr Abodraiaa, CEO of
Rology, brings his experience as the Co-founder and CEO of TownSoft, along with
his strategic roles at Ezz Steel. His leadership, coupled with his
understanding of the market dynamics and operational excellence, is pivotal to
guiding Rology towards its strategic vision
A serial entrepreneur who since an
early age became interested in technology and the way it can improve people’s
lifestyle. In 2012, he founded Core IT Solutions, an Egyptian-based software
house that works with multiple companies from Egypt and the UAE.
In 2016, he founded WideBot. WideBot
empowers businesses to build smart chatbots that speak the MENA language.
Hazem Kamel joined NI
Capital as the Managing Director of Private Equity, bringing with him approximately 20 years of corporate
experience in various Investment management activities in Egypt as well as the
wider MENA region.
Prior to joining NI Capital, Mr. Kamel
was the Chairman and Managing Director of Naeem Financial Investments (the
Asset Management arm of Naeem Holding, one of the largest growing investment
banks in the MENA region) with a mandate to drive the strategy and daily
operations in both Egypt and UAE. Prior to that, Mr. Kamel headed Naeem’s
Investment Unit where he was responsible for growing the AUM in the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia from USD0.5bn to USD3.1bn, as well as running the operations of
the Investment Management Division.
Mr. Kamel began his career at Prime
Holding in 1997 and acquired extensive financial expertise from various
positions within the organization. He also served as a member of the Investment
Committee of the Mediterranean Fund managed by Rothschild Asset Management and
co-managed by Prime.
Mr. Kamel holds MBA from Maastricht
School of Management, Netherlands, Executive Education in Private Equity from
Oxford University and BSc in Accounting, English section from Ain Shams
University, Egypt. He serves on several boards, including Enmaa for leasing,
Tamweely for Micro Finance, Ayady Misr for
Industrial Development and Ayady Facility Management.
