    To go on, Albert has been at the forefront of the angel investor movement in Spain and Europe, since its very beginning. In 2002, he founded BANC (Business Angels Network Catalunya) the first of its kind to operate in Catalunya. Later on, he fostered the creation of the first Spanish Federation of Business Angels Networks, Fundacion ESBAN (2006).  ESBAN Foundation main goals are to raise awareness and to promote Angel investment activities and Business Angels Networks as a way to boost entrepreneurship and economic growth in Spain. ESBAN Foundation also lobbies the Spanish institutions to set up a legal and fiscal framework for the Business Angel asset class.  

    Being an active participant in the most top-ranked international early stage and entrepreneurial events, as well as recipient of the Honorary Award to the Largest Contribution to the EBAN Board of Directors, Albert is a proud Board member of the EBAN (European Trade Association for Business Angels, Seed Funds, and other Early Stage Market Players) since 2003. Mr. Gouhin spent 15 years with AIAA whereby his leadership contributions resulted in significant revenue growth and the successful management of 300+ project teams through development and delivery of multiple products and services. Mr. Gouhin also served as the first Vice President of Operations and Technology Transfer for the National Institute of Aerospace (NIA) at Langley Research Center. This was a start-up resulting from $69 million government contract award to build a world-class research and education institute. Gouhin served as the Chief of Staff in managing day-to-day operations and issues associated with a 50-person start-up company after serving as the integration lead on the successful proposal. Mr. Gouhin has experience in corporate divestitures and acquisitions, business construction and relocation, strategic standardization management, business planning, project management, process mapping and reengineering, and serving as a company wide change agent. He has served on the board of directors of multiple non-profits including the Council of Engineering and Scientific Society Executives (CESSE) where he is a past president. He has a bachelor of science in aeronautical and astronautical engineering from The Ohio State University and a master’s in engineering management from George Washington University.     Nabeel is the former Co-Founder and Director of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) GIS Technology Innovation Center. He is the former Co-Founder and General Supervisor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute. Nabeel is the former Co-Founder and Chairman of Board of Directors of Transportation and Crowd Management Innovation Center.

    As an entrepreneur, Koshak was the Founder and CEO of five tech startups.

    Nabeel received an Executive Education in "Venture Capital and Private Equity" from Harvard University in 2019, an Executive Education from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in "Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program" and "Management, Innovation, Technology" in 2017, a PhD in Design Computing from Carnegie Mellon University in 2002, and a Master of Architecture (Computing in Design and Planning) from the University of Colorado in 1997.

    Previously, he co-founded and managed the first US-based venture capital firm with a dedicated fund for the MENA region and was the most active venture capital investor in the region during its investment period from 2017-2020. In his role, he manages the 500 Startups MENA fund, 500 Falcons, which invested in over 180 startups across 15 countries.

    In addition, Sharif serves on the board of San Francisco Bay Area-based non-profit TechWadi where he was the chairman of the board from 2015-2019 helping build meaningful bridges between MENA startups and Silicon Valley. He also serves on several advisory boards for startups, organizations, and governments in the MENA region and Silicon Valley.

    Prior to his career in investing, Sharif was the Partner Lead to VCs and Startups at Google where he worked with top tier VCs and their most promising startups on strategies that bring all of Google to their businesses. Before joining the Global Partnerships team, he spent 5 years leading performance advertising strategy and solutions for Google’s largest customers in North America covering Mobile, Search, and Display ads.

     He joined Google through the $750m acquisition of AdMob, the world’s leading mobile advertising network. Before AdMob, Sharif was a technologist and serial entrepreneur having founded or co-founded several companies in the Consumer Internet and B2B space over a twelve-year period starting in 1998.

    Sharif earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine Merage School of Business, and his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of California, Los Angeles. He recently relocated from his home state of California to Dubai with his wife and three children.
