Amr Talaat has been appointed the Minister of Communications and Information
Technology since June 2018, to the Cabinet of the Prime Minister Dr. MostafaMadbouly.
Talaat possesses over 30 years of solid experience in communications and information technology areas, with a wide experience in developing and implementing strategies across a vast spectrum of activities in Egypt.
Talaat joined IBM-Egypt in August 1988 and held various managerial positions. On May 23 rd , 2010, Amr Talaat held the position of the Country General Manager of IBM, and also served as IBM Egypt Territory Manager since 2005.
He held various managerial positions within IBM Egypt including Business Partner Organization (BPO) Manager as well as Systems and Technology Group Manager.
During his tenure, his scope transcended financial goals to strategic and operational elements such as building human capital, fortifying customer loyalty, corporate social responsibility and employees’ Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
He also sought to establish relationships with key officials and executives of various sectors, both at the national and international levels, to attract major investments, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) deals.
In addition, Talaat was an adjunct professor at Cairo University; teaching marketing and & sales strategies and tactics, organizational behavior and strategic management. He was, also, an honorary member at the ICT Board at Cairo University and member of the ICT Board of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) and the Chairman of ICT Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham).
Talaat graduated in 1983 from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, completing his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering at Cairo University.
He earned his PhD or doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Paris - Paris School of Business (PSB) and Masters of Science in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), in addition to an MBA from Paris ESLSCA Business School, France.
Mustafa Shamseldin is Senior VP & CMO – Africa, Middle East & South Asia at PepsiCo.
He has more than 23 years of general management, sales, and marketing experience leading small and large scale enterprises covering more than 50 countries across four continents. He managed multi-billion dollar businesses, led some of the most valuable global brands and trademarks, created and launched numerous successful products and innovations, and built new brands from scratch.
In his role as CMO for the AMESA sector, he leads the development of PepsiCo’s total portfolio of foods and beverages across one of the company’s key geographies and future growth drivers, with responsibility for the marketing, insights and innovation functions. He is also a member of the PepsiCo’s Global Marketing Leadership Council. In 2020 he was recognized by Forbes magazine the Middle East as one of the top 50 most influential marketing and communications executives in the region.
Mustafa has been with PepsiCo since 2008 when he started as the Marketing Director for Pepsi Cola Egypt, before moving to different roles across the region including GCC Marketing Director, General Manager Saudi & Yemen Beverages, Vice President for Sales & New Business Development and Senior VP for foods in Asia, Middle East, and North Africa. Prior to PepsiCo,
Mustafa worked across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa region in different companies including Procter & Gamble, Henkel, and Americana Foods. He has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering from the American University in Cairo and has attended executive education and development programs at Wharton Business School and Cranfield School of Management.

Ambassador Jan Thesleff has been serving as the
Ambassador of Sweden to the Arab Republic of Egypt since September 2017.
From 2014 to 2017, Thesleff served as Sweden’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, residing in Abu Dhabi. In June 2015 and in October 2016, respectively, he was accredited as Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait.
Thesleff has previously been Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of Yemen and the State of Kuwait (2006-2011) and to Libya and Tunisia (2011-14). He also served as Sweden’s Special Representative for the Syria Crisis (2012-2014).

Peter Cowley, a Cambridge university technology graduate, founded and ran over a dozen businesses in technology and property over the last 39 years. He has built up a portfolio of over 70 angel investments with eight good exits (including one that is 107X and returned all his invested cash) and twelve failures. Janaïna Herrera is a French diplomat, holding the position of General Consul of France in Alexandria since 2018. After completing her Masters in International Relations in Sciences Po Paris in 2002, she joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2003 where she held a series of positions in Multilateral Desks (EU, UN) before being posted in Beirut (2007-2010). Corine has been the Investment Manager at Insure and Match Capital Holding SAL (IM Capital) since April 2015. Dr. Ramzi Asfour is board certified in
Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine and is also certified in Functional

Dr. Manish Kohli is an experienced and a visionary executive

Nina is the founder and Managing Director of Expandise, a consultancy

Sofana Dahlan is an accomplished Saudi lawyer and social entrepreneur. She holds the prized distinction of being among the first three female lawyers to have been granted the permit to practice law in Saudi Arabia. Dahlan has served as a legal consultant in different parts of the Arab world including Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Kuwait. Sherif Hosny is the CEO and Co-founder of Schaduf for Agriculture and Trade. Sherif Abdelmohsen is associate professor of digital media and design computing at the Department of Architecture at the American University in Cairo. He is also head of the Design Computing and Fabrication group at the building sciences laboratory. Abdelmohsen received his PhD degree in Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA (2011), and participated in design computing research and teaching at both Carnegie Mellon University and Georgia Tech. He received his MSc and BSc degrees in architectural engineering from Ain Shams University in 2004 and 2000 respectively. Mohamed Okasha is the managing director of Disreuptech Ventures , With over 18 years of experience in the corporate retail sales, marketing and operations management of both IT and telecom Industries, Okasha launched the retail operation of Fawry across Egypt and built the strong client base of Fawry billers. Before joining Fawry, Okasha held top executive roles at Raya and Vodafone, where he contributed to the launch and establishment of various successful initiatives in the IT and Telecom sectors. Okasha holds a BSC in Computer Science from AUC, and an International MBA from the graduate school of ESCLSCA.

A self taught technologist and geek at heart, Laith enjoys working closely with developers and designers on solving product challenges. He still codes almost daily, and speaks fluent Arabic, English, Objective-C, Swift, PHP, C#, JavaScript, SQL, CSS, HTML, and a little bit of Python. Laith holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Jordan.
Lamiaa El Rashidy is the Technology Incubation Department Manager at the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC). Through managing TIEC’s incubation department, she aims at promoting entrepreneurial spirit and increasing SMEs in the ICT sector in Egypt. Lamiaa has over 10 years’ experience in the incubation business as she joined ITIDA in 2010 as an Incubation Specialist and since then she has supported and mentored through her work many of the current Egyptian successful startups. Lamiaa has also joined Mowgli mentorship program in 2018 and she is currently one of Mowgli’s regional mentors. Lamiaa has joined TIEC since its inception in September 2010 and has been managing the incubation department as the Incubation Department Manager since June 2012. Prior to her current position, she held different positions at the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt and DaimlerChrysler Egypt. Lamiaa earned an MBA from Maastricht School of Management (MSM), with Distinction and a B.A. in Business Administration – Concentration Marketing, American University in Cairo with high honors.
Mahmoud El Guezery is the CEO of Tredco Mobility and serves on its board of directors. Before being named CEO in November 2018, Mahmoud was Tredco’s Managing Director and was responsible for all of the company's automotive business activities, including end-to-end management of four automotive feeding industries plants. He was the first in the Egyptian market to introduce Electric 2 & 3 wheelers locally assembled under the brand name “Glide”. Prior to joining Tredco Group, Mahmoud was Territory Manager for Exxonmobil and was responsible for selling lubricants and specialties to Power Generation and Oil & Gas sectors . . .
