    Technology since June 2018, to the Cabinet of the Prime Minister Dr. MostafaMadbouly.

    Talaat possesses over 30 years of solid experience in communications and information technology areas, with a wide experience in developing and implementing strategies across a vast spectrum of activities in Egypt.

    Talaat joined IBM-Egypt in August 1988 and held various managerial positions. On May 23 rd , 2010, Amr Talaat held the position of the Country General Manager of IBM, and also served as IBM Egypt Territory Manager since 2005.

    He held various managerial positions within IBM Egypt including Business Partner Organization (BPO) Manager as well as Systems and Technology Group Manager.

    During his tenure, his scope transcended financial goals to strategic and operational elements such as building human capital, fortifying customer loyalty, corporate social responsibility and employees’ Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

    He also sought to establish relationships with key officials and executives of various sectors, both at the national and international levels, to attract major investments, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) deals.

    In addition, Talaat was an adjunct professor at Cairo University; teaching marketing and & sales strategies and tactics, organizational behavior and strategic management. He was, also, an honorary member at the ICT Board at Cairo University and member of the ICT Board of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) and the Chairman of ICT Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham).

    Talaat graduated in 1983 from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, completing his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering at Cairo University.

    He earned his PhD or doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Paris - Paris School of Business (PSB) and Masters of Science in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), in addition to an MBA from Paris ESLSCA Business School, France.

Moreover, Mahfouz served as IBM’s Communications Sector Leader for the MEA region out of Dubai, and Managing Partner, Global Business Services Country Leader at IBM in Saudi Arabia. Amr Mahfouz holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from Cairo University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.

In November 2016, released his third album, AlyaQeen, Consisting of 13 music pieces and took about 3 years preparing for its release. 

    In 2018, Kharma collaborated with Egyptian composer Omar Khairat, honoring the memory of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his moving memorial at 57357 Hospital. In the same year, Kharma composed the soundtrack for the opening and activities of the World Youth Forum held in Sharm El-Sheikh. Kharma collaborated with Tanvi Shah in a recording work titled Born Free.

    In 2020, for the first time, Kharma composed the soundtrack for The End, the first Egyptian Sci-fi television drama series. That year, he composed the soundtrack for Mako, an Egyptian film adapted from the accident of the passenger ship, Salem Express that sank in the Red Sea in 1991.

  • Adly Thoma is the Chairman & CEO of Gemini Africa an investment company, the arm of Orascom group within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Thoma’s relentless activities to uplift the ecosystem led him to the creation of a new entrepreneurial track, CinemaTech, aiming to introduce entrepreneurship into the filmmaking industry for the first time worldwide. Adly holds the intellectual property rights for founding CinemaTech as an on-ground proof of his pioneering thinking.

    Adly as well is a professor of practice – University of Agora – USA and a Worldwide Project Management Consultant for 85 countries – Schlumberger International – USA. 

    Moreover, he is an adjunct faculty at the Dubai school of government in cooperation with Harvard Kennedy School and a post graduate instructor and consultant within the EMEA at multiple recognized institutions including the American University in Cairo (AUC), Ain Shams and Cairo universities. 

    Not to mention that with his proven success track record, he was nominated to be a member of the practitioners high committee at the Arab Academy of Science & Technology (AAST), a member in the Aswan International Film Festival (AWIFF) board of trustees, an accredited member of project management examination panels in addition to being an international awards winner of the shining armor, a bronze medal and other awards in recognition of his unique business and project management contributions.

    Thoma sits on the boards of multiple business, entrepreneurial and social organizations besides being a leader of modernization & digital transformation, a member of think tanks and innovations committees at distinct bodies and a business advisor for various Egyptian enterprises and corporations. He is also a guest and panelist in multiple influential events with prominent establishments like the IFC, the African Union, TEDx and many more
